Re: New Royal Yacht
How many PMs has she seen out now John. She can really say say " I"ve seen them come and I"ve seen them go " JS...
As an aside she must be the most toasted woman on earth, not in the toaster but in beer wine and spirits, and for the abstainers in water . In any function in the British Commonwealth she is usually the first of the evening or morning and afternoon as the case may be. And doesnt even have to respond to them. Imagine having to do the same to some 4 year squirt. JS.

Re: New Royal Yacht
Hi des, the reason for the "GOTHIC" was the scots building "BRITANIA" were on strike and she was not finished. Lets hope the replacement is built in UK and stop breast feeding the poor scots from the gorbals and grenock and leave them to fighting in the street.

Re: New Royal Yacht
If you want it built on time and on budget get it built in Korea or France , they did a good job on the Queen Mary 2

Re: New Royal Yacht
#34, an ill informed post, that drives people into the SNP arms.
Suggest poster reads up on Scottish industrial history.

Re: New Royal Yacht
#37&38 what have these posts got to do with a new Royal Yacht?
Getting to the stage that some posters have the attention span of a Gold fish.
£200 million for a glorified floating conference centre. It would be great if it is to be a Royal Yacht that the Royals chip in a few quid for the building and running costs.

Re: New Royal Yacht
Could be worse, the strange bloke seems to take the day off on a Sunday,
otherwise would give it large, any one joined his club yet? seems to be more
secret than a Boris wedding. Know it is not the masons's, guessing oddfellows
as it ticks all the boxes. At the mo seems to total 1 and half joined.
