This was only round one, It is not unusual for similar results early on and though the Grand Slam / Triple Crown could be out of reach, England could still get the Championship. A lot of rugby to go yet. May the best team win.

Re: six nations
Ever since foreign coaches have come in it has gone from bad to worse. That Eddie Jones is just an ignorant pig and Warren Gatland is not much better. I can never remember Clive Woodward being controversial certainly not to the extent of the current England coach.

If you're Welsh as I am, you would have a far higher regard for Gatland than you seem to have. A couple of successful Lions tours should not be forgotten either.

Re: six nations
#32.. Lewis your post touches where my thoughts lie. I am definetley in a minority here , my thoughts on sport are not fanatical and I live in a country devoted to sport of any kind. Sport was to me and always will be a pastime, it was an honour one time to play for your country . When sport became non amateur for the Olympic Games that killed it for me. Any sport today is professional and is purely a money making profession for both management and players alike. How can football clubs or any other club pay millions to employ alien people to represent their town city or country beats all logic of any representation , I still like sport for once what it used to be. I must be one of the few people in Australia who changes channels when these overpaid so called heroes appear on my TV screen. I compare them in a lot of cases with politicians . JS
Like your post on the comparisons of Chinese philosophy and western philosophy , the future looks bleak for any standards of the old morality we once had for a fleeting moment in time. Today the world runs on the stock markets of the world and ones making their fortunes , power is the word of today and that is the place to find it. Cheers JS

Re: six nations
There is no such thing now as professional sport.
It is now a very large industry making a big load of cash, the players ae nothing more than over paid employees now.

lewis i think if you read Eddie jones biography ..you might have a better view of eddie jones ...i recently read his biography ...and an ignorant pig as you call him......is far from the truth ...have you met him ....have you had any inside info that others have not....or did you just wish to cause attention to your self..... .....an amazing statement lewis ....but then to just state what ignorance you refer to would help to understand why you called him an ignorant pig in the ist place.....R683532
