Think Captain Kong should set the course , South Sea Isles sounds a better heading than the Americas.

Lewis, we all know where the UK is, but there is, or should not be, an umbilical cord tying it to the EU.

As to the Pound and Euro, fluctuations occur by the second in many instances.

Last week my UK pension brought in $378, today the one for her indoors only brought in $368.
Pound up, or AU dollar down?

Floating currencies, of which most of the worlds major ones are do just that they float, unless of course as had occurred in the past they just sink away.

well now we have confirmed dollar - good . Euro - bad , we will have to leave Europe , disaster where will I get my Foie Gras from , I'll have to drink Australian wine , buy a Japanese car from Santoryland on Wear , no more French letters , visit the crooked spire of Chesterfield instead of the leaning tower of Pizza , we need a referendum to resolve this

Very true Cappy fact the GBP against the Euro pre Brexit was around the £1.00 = €1.25, today £1.00 = €1.115 as of yesterdays spot rate, to me says the GBP is not to healthy, Euro may not be in the best of shape either. So that Cognac you are fond off is going up in price.

##well that is one point of view another from a businness angle would be can you afford not to drop your price to to keep your sales .....and of course when we get out that euro soup .......our pound will rise against the euro as we wont have to pay to keep the continent afloat

Well Lads, I hope you are right seeing as my pensions are converted from GBP to Euros. The stronger the Pound the bigger my pay rise, happy days.
