Thanks for that Jim, glad to see that the Cunard Building is again going to make history. Many is the time that I queued in the basement of that building along with hundreds of guys hoping for a job on one of the Cunarders, your fate literally in the hands of Bert Forrest, the Catering Super. But I have to be fair to Bert he always made sure that I had a ship to go to. Maybe not in Liverpool, but Southampton was an OK port. As far as I am concerned Cunard was a great company to work for and it is really good to see that their HQ in Liverpool is to become the Cruise Ship Terminal. Many thanks for the info Jim.
    Regards
    John

Somewhat sad to see the company now in foreign hands after so many years as a great British shipping company. But like so many others now part of our history and one that we hopw ill not die.
    Happy daze John in Oz.
