Old Postcards
I have just found the following site by pure accident and it's nostalgic to say the least.
Its nautical photos of North Wales and Liverpool as caught on old post cards.
I would recommend it, it's well worth a look.
I dont know know how to put the link on here but the name of the site is as follows, I'm sure if you Google it, it will appear.
Geoff Topp Retired Liverpool Pilot (Postcard Collection)
Let me know your comments, it certainly brought back happy memories for me.

Glad you liked it Colin, I can remember seeing a lot of those liners in the Mersey.

I have been into Geoff Topps site a few times and as everyone agrees it is very good, I had e-mail contact with him once, he told me he has loads more post cards to put on but never seems to get round to it.

Many thanks for putting that on : by the time it was over I had a lump in my throat. Nostalgia and a fine bottle of Hunter Valley Shiraz do not a happy chappie make. I forget the many times the ships on, which I happily served, docked at one of those famous wharves, the ever cheerful "scousers", the "overhead", the Caradoc, Mables Bar where my mate and I got well " filled in', ah ....I think I'll have another drink.
