Come on Brian
You don't ask questions like that. That's very personal.

There must be somebody in the Administration department of this site who can explain what all this means.

seems a bit strange to make these sort of changes to the site without explaining them first especially when some of it has no apparent logic whatsoever: like we all seem to have 3 friends and we have all been on the site for 10 days. Admins/moderators are keeping very quiet today so presumably they know as much about it as we do. One or two nice touches like the stickies have been separated from the rest of the threads but other than that it is like a game show.

Maybe the Administrators got bored and decided to create some excitement and confusion... Got to admit, it worked!

Explanations???
Well as a Moderator i too was a bit confused on all the new thingies here!
I however got an Email from Brian to try and explain what this all means.
So in a nutshell here are a few explanations!
Hope this may clarify this a wee bit!
Cheers
vBExperience
This is a nifty way for people to see the levels of activity a person has in the forum. It also allows you to reward members as well.
Separate Sticky & Normal Threads:
basically it will put a bar between the stickies at the top so you can tell better where the sticky threads stop and the regular ones begin.
vBStatus
This adds your status in each post & in your profile
At present this is all the info i have, but there will be more things added in time,so hope that you all just watch and see what happens!
Sorry i cannot give you more on all this!
Cheers

Achievements
(A) Wasn't the level of activity obvious from the number of posts in the top right hand corner of each post
(B) Have never known the difference between a "sticky" and regular thread: What is the difference?
(C) why would we need a "Status"
Most of us post a message in response to someone elses, or initiate a post if we think it's a relevant topic, the majority just read the posts and it seems they are happy doing that, so why alter a good working system "ONLY ASKING"
I think the old adage still holds true "If in ain't broke, don't fix it"
Just my humble observations

Trying!!
(A) Wasn't the level of activity obvious from the number of posts in the top right hand corner of each post
I dont think the Activity level comes in here!??
(B) Have never known the difference between a "sticky" and regular thread: What is the difference?
A sticky is a post that will appear at the Top of each Thread to try and attrct more attention to it!
(C) why would we need a "Status"
This i think is just a little something to add a bit of feeling to each user!?
Cheers
NB This is all very new to us all,so just ride along with us and let us see what happens!
Now how does one get an Icon on your Status or otherwise??
Some have them ? Not even me! Booo!! haha!
