Merchant Navy Day 2011
Just in from the National MNA Secretary:
This year we are due to arrange for some Veterans of conflicts from World War II to the present, who are due to attend the Merchant Navy Day Commemorative Service, to be interviewed by the press on that day, to tell their interesting stories and hopefully bring along any interesting photographs and/or records.
Initially any member who wishes to take part in the interviews, will have a telephone interview in early August so that a good cross-section of interesting stories can be related on the day.
Anyone who is interested in being interviewed or if you know of anyone who will agree to be interviewed on 4 September, please contact me by Friday, 10 July with basic details of their experiences.
