Had what I thought was a mouse ran across my dayroom deck on one ship I was on , I was not too perturbed about it until I found it was a baby rat. Anyone ever read the book King Rat ? If remember was about a Japanese POW. Camp . JS.

we had a mouse in the kitchen yesterday dont know how it got in barb is terrified of rats and mice but nothing my .22 air sporter cant sort out?getting back to the jab as i go to the cancer clinics even if you have had both jabs from the front doors to the clinics four stations have to be passed masks on hands sanitized through each one some people like me cant afford to get covid i was told very little could be done for me it was a bit scary?but make sure you get yours people?

I remember we are sitting at the bar on the Clan Ranald having a pre lunch pint.
Knock at the door C. O. shot out the bar at a great speed (for him).
The ship was heading south, crew were cleaning holds prior to loading S. A fruit.
When the C. O. came back, muttering, and when he calmed down, it transpired that the crew thought they had come accross rat ****. Which could have impacted loading.
Transpired it was something else.
C. O. breathed a sigh of relief.

well my view is if you kick ass you must then be much on guard.....for whats coming back ...but i guess many of the old sailors on here when lifting there leg to KICKASS as you put it would lose there balance an fall flat on there own ass.....oops waiting for incoming......lol cappy
