Re: ante covid vaccination
According to our gov we should be getting it here in Oz about March.
They are waiting to see how the USA and UK ones go first.
EU said all 27 countries will begin in January and all be done by May!!!!!!!!!!
Saw my GP today, he said al surgeries such as his will be doing it by late Feb.
But the number here who say NO to it is amazing.
Obviously Facebook has got the message out to so many that it has come around too quick.
Nothing further from the truth, Oxford in colabaration with a number of other countries has been working on a very similar one for almost five years.
They had thought that at some time such a transfer of disease from animal to human would occurr.

Happy daze John in Oz.

Re: ante covid vaccination
#10 Keith didn’t they make a song about that Puff the magic dragon, seem to recollect Mary calling Cappy her Dragon boy, or was that Michelle in Kobe.? Today the title of such a song wouldn’t be allowed by today’s pc brigade. Would have to be gay the magic dragon, doesn’t sound right somehow, JS..

Re: ante covid vaccination
Just to confuse you care of Den. Me AT GROCERY STORE:
Why is there plastic on the payment keypad?
Cashier: to protect people from Covid.
Me : but isn’t everyone touching the plastic keypad the same way they would the regular keypad? Image removed by sender. Image removed by sender.
Cashier: no words. Confused look. Image removed by sender.
Me : Why Dont you pack the grocery bags anymore?
Cashier : Because of covid 19 to reduce the spread of catching or spreading the virus.
Me : But a shelf packer took it out of a box and put on the shelf, a few customers might of picked it up and put back deciding they Dont want it, I put it in my trolley then on the conveyer belt, YOU pick it up to scan it.. But putting it in a bag after you scan is risky??
Cashier : no words, confused look Image removed by sender.
Me AT DRIVE-THRU:
Server: (holds a tray out the window with a bag of food for logical friend to grab)
Me: why is my bag of food on a tray?
Server: so I don’t touch your food because of Covid.
Me: didn’t the cook touch my food? Didn’t the person wrapping my food touch it and then touch it again when placing it in my bag? Didn’t you touch the bag and put it on the tray? Didn’t you touch the tray? Image removed by sender. Image removed by sender.
Server: no words. Confused look. Image removed by sender.
Me in SOCIETY:
Society ; If you cough or sneeze do it in your elbow or sleeve,
Also society : Dont shake hands or hug anyone or you will spread the virus..
To greet people do an elbow tap instead.
Me : Elbow tap Image removed by sender. ? Isn't that where you tell people to sneeze or cough? into their elbow? Now you want people to tap each other with that elbow Image removed by sender.
wouldn't it be safer to sneeze into elbow and shake hands like we did before Covid Image removed by sender.
Me AT RESTAURANT:
Hostess: ok, I can seat you at this table right here (4 feet away), but I will need you to wear a mask to the table.
Me: what happens when I get to the table?
Hostess: you can take off the mask.
Me: then it is safe over there?
Hostess: yes.
Me: are those fans blowing above the table? Is that the air-conditioning I feel? Is the air circulating in here? Image removed by sender. Image removed by sender. Hostess: no words. Confused look. Image removed by sender.
SOCIETY:
You are not allowed to stand and drink at the pub or bar, you have to sit down.
But at the shopping centre you are not allowed to sit down, all the chairs are roped off.
Who thinks this stuff up?
Life is hard for logical people right now. We are being raised without the ability to process and execute logic Image

Re: ante covid vaccination
Bet these people wish the vaccine had arrived earlier, but how come the crew contacted it? Apart from catering staff who should have been following safety procedures I would have thought the rest of the crew had little or none contact with the passengers.

Re: ante covid vaccination
Hi John.
Some of the bureaucrats and politicians in charge have no idea. We have been having plane loads of Aussies coming home, they are carried on many different countries aircraft, they have just discovered that the crews on these planes have been flying in with covid, I should have thought; though; they go straight into a lock down hotel, they would have at the very least been tested.

Re: ante covid vaccination
Des, stop it you are sounding like a sensible person, you will never make a politician.
Yes most agree but we are talking about aircraft of other nations.
We are not able to impose such on them for some reason no poli is willing to explain.
Thankfully all persons on the aircraft are taken to quarantine hotel where here in Melbourne now you would be better off in jail.
