Take one Lemon, any kind will do. cut in half and put in a cup of water.
Bring to the boil and keep simmering for enough time to reduce the fluid by half.
Pour in to a glass, add two spoons of sugar, two Panadol and about four fingers of spirit, Rum, whisky, Gin, Brandy or what ever.
Drink before going to sleep, very quickly I might add.
Awake refreshed and start your day.
Then there was the poor guy in court for importuning in the local toilet.
Coughing like mad in front of the beak who suggested he might like to suck a fisherman's friend to relieve the cough.
"would be fine sir but that is what got me in here in the first place'.
