Hi everyone just like to let you know, my complaint erroneously thought by me to be a Nasal Drip is not that at all, its really a rather nasty Chest Infection, this was confirmed by a Doctor during four hours spent between two hospitals this morning. I am now back home clutching my antibiotics in anticipation of an early return to normality. I never realised that chest infections could have such a varied attack system - violent shake, chills, fever, heavy sweats and one horrendous cough. Thanks everyone for your kind advice and wishes, lets hope my next plea for help will be from the Gallery. A very Happy, Healthy and Prosperous New Year to you all.

This is guaranteed to cure any cold and flu, well it works for me.
Take one bottle of Benylin, two sachets of Lemsip and a bottle of decent whiskey. Mix up and drink the hot Lemsips whilst knocking back the bottle of Benylin. Once the Pension and Benylin are finished start on the whisky and down enough of the stuff ( neat) to cause you to stagger of to bed well nizzed, wake up 12 hours later with cold cured and no hangover.

Remember, when kids - loads of hot tea, we were wrapped in a blanket, sat near the coal fire and sweated it out.

My oldman just used to tip the contents of a packet of Beechams powder down his neck and off to the pub to wash it down. After his usual 8 pints never heard him complain until the next time he got the lurgy. JS

I find Sterimar with added copper brilliant. . There is an ordinary Sterimar aerosol and the added Cu version. It was recommended by a pharmacist a few years ago when I had the usual winter nasal congestion/sores after I had colds and could never shake them off during cold wx. Now I use it as a preventative and so far never had a cold since in last few years. I used to get really bad colds with fly lije symptoms developing and feeling terrible yearly in UK when temperature dropoed in winter. Icould never get rid of them until warmer wx started.. I wish I had found this product yearsl before. There is a long snout ontop of the aerosol and it is delivered under pressure up the nostrils . Seawater is a natural antihistimine and reduces inflammation.

The snake oil I really swear by which is really brilliant. and goid for blowing put the tubes I discoved just before last Winter. It also takes away joint and muscle, arthritis pain etc pain brilliantly. It is a white liniment same cinstituwncy a baby lotion with 35 percent pure Japanese Peppermint oil. Used by bicyclists, farming families etc is brilliant. Called Uddermint.by Tierson Moo moo. Countrywide farmers shops stock it snd tbeir internet site. They use it on dairy cows to reduce inflamation as that peopermint oil is natural antihistimine and pain killer. It doesn't affect the dairy cows milk.unlike antibiotics etc.. Inflated prices for it on Amazon but cooments on their site about how it has helped humans.

    https://www.countrywidefarmers.co.uk...ddermint-600ml

Also in the hang up tubes as below.

600ml is £14.99 at farm shops

Can buy 4 litres about £42.99 at farm shop. Over £100 on Amazon.

Same product and same manufacturer Tieson has supplied NHS hospitals physio deots for last 20/30 years supplied in 150 ml tubes at four times called MintEase. I rang manufacturer ans nithibg bad for humans in it and identical product renamed and repackaged for hospitals.

Here are some farmers comments in their chat site about it They don't mention Daisy the dairy cow. This is all about how Uddermint and how humans fund it and how it worked on their wife etc

    Arthritis & Udder Mint

    Csn be easily googled.

Mole valley farmers Coop farmers etc do their own make but doesn't have 35 percent japanese pepermint oil. About 10percent i think in tbeir own makes

Heres what the smaller 600ml size that countrywide farm stores stock.Available on tbeir internet site atlround £14.99.

    Teisen Uddermint 600ml - cowsfeet.co.uk

Not to be confused with a similar packaged Tiesen product is Udder cream which is cheaper. That's different. Again humans use it and it is an antiseptic moisturising cream. Humans use it too in repackaged renamed version. Again marketed for humans using smalltubes, new name.

Plenty of comments on Amaxon about how good it is for humans for joints, muscle pain etc. Rub some in hands and cup over nose and mouth. Inhale and it really clears tbe tubes. 10 munutes later still smelling strong on the hands. Keep away from eyes.

It makes one smell like a polomint though.
