Re: Third time lucky ?
Richard I wish you well #27----therein lies the question!!
Thanks John
Had the inguinal hernia meshed and sewn up on Thursday and came home yesterday afternoon feeling pleased with myself. Then, QUORE!!! The painkiller self administered drip I had in the ward wore off and the substitute pills didn't really take up the slack. Apparently the mesh I had put in about fifteen years ago dissolved but the doc assures me this one is permanent. This maturity lark has whiskers on it - its a glorified built in redundancy.
Hope all is well with your recovery.
Richard

Re: Third time lucky ?
As said before, my PA was 474 when was diagnosed. Had it down to 0.something but tripled between my last two visits up to 8.something. Reckon it has escaped my prostate again so CT scan last week and now waiting for results to see what they do next. Was at the docs today with a sore back. Missus sent me to bed last night with a hot water bottle on it. Unfortunately it managed to blister my back!!!

Mesh must have changed over the years as the stuff I had put in 1965 is still there. I was on a drip overnight then paracetomol for 12 days, all I got from that was a head cold.

Happy daze John in Oz.

Re: Third time lucky ?
Keep these up Rob, Ken will forget the inconvenience. By the way ken, if they do try to tighten your nuts you'd better bolt.
