Re: England v Denmark
It does not bother me, I will not be watching a crowd of men chasing and kicking a ball.,
Last time I saw a football match was in March 1947,74 years ago. never seem one live or on TV in all that time.
35 Killed and 500 injured, I ended up by the corner flag with the Dead bodies
then the linesman got a bag of sawdust and drew another touch line ten yards in and carried on playing, the ball occasionally bouncing amongst the dead bodies.
I thought, if that is football I will never watch again.

Brian this is hard to believe, until i looked for the evidence and then shock horror to think that you and many others had to witness this. With sadness Roger.

Re: England v Denmark
#2 I tend to go with Brian with this one . Once they professionalized the Olympic Games sports ceased to be a hobby and a pastime and became big business and no place for true sportsmanship . I wouldn’t pay to watch any professional sports event. JS

Re: England v Denmark
It will be 55 years since England won a major such as this.
World cup, England 4 Krauts 2.
The Wops have not won this one for 50 years I was informed, just hope Wembly 1966 can be repeated.

Happy daze John in Oz.
