Can anyone explain to me how as shown onthe tele last night ...a bloke in a balaclava can walk up to a police land rover type vehicle ...throw a molotov cocktail from about two meters away jump up and down.then turn and walk away ...while the police vehicle was in a position to run him over...but just turned and drove slowly away.....wh at sort of policing is this .....this person endangered life and just trotted off......this is suerly arson and a life imprisonment.......

That is why the Chief Constable has to go Cappy, the man is **** scared of taking action. This has been going on now for weeks. You have the Reality IRA planting bombs again. You have the leader of the DUP (first minister) Snarlene sitting down for tea and tiffin with the Loyalists leaders council(UDA/UVF) for discussions about the Irish Sea border( which really is a Boris cockup ). It is farcical the PSNI helped plan the Bobby Storey funeral ffs!!! you had Blondie and the other Lady in charge of SF openly following the Hearse (both looked like a bags of spuds ) along with streets lined by hundreds, openly in breach of COVID restrictions. The funeral made it's way to the Roselawn crematorium then SF ordered that the gates to be closed. At that time 30 people and no more were allowed to attend funerals this rule obviously did not apply to SF who seem to think they are above the law. Meanwhile you had funerals backed up outside the gates waiting to get in. There was an investigation as to charging those who infringed COVID restrictions, this week the PPS decided against prosecutions. One rule for one lot of idiots and one for the other lot of idiots, and that in a nut shell Cappy is why the trouble is going to kick off again. There is a guy on radio and TV here called Stephen Nolan who is one mega mouth piece and all week he has been bitching and stirring the pot.

This year is the centenary of the formation of the state of N Ireland it was always going to be a fractious year. I cannot see the assembly lasting much longer. You have basically a 5 party coalition assembly DUP, 27 seats SF 26, SDLP 12, UUP 10 and Alliance 7, there are a few other minor parties Greens and Independents making 7 in total. I know that the DUP or SF only have to say no they do not agree and that is it the bill or what ever is not passed. Even if they have a vote and either the DUP or SF do not get a majority it only needs either to say no and that is it. Tribal politics rules, the sooner they can lose that mind set the sooner we can move on. Concerning the recent spat of troubles in the streets it is just a bunch of idiots being egged on by others , not unlike what is happening in England with the protesters KILL THE BILL.

From my observations since arriving back in England after a very long absence is that we now have a Police service not a Police force.
People show very little respect for the organisation as they don't fear the repercussions - hence no fear of any penalty that MAY be the result of their actions.
I think we had far more respect when they showed strength. Far too much politics now involved with all in power scared of upsetting the minority who are very vocal about their " rights".

The PSNI and the Police on the big Island are policing by consent only when joe public allow them to. The politicians have left the police powerless. Not saying I want a police state but any other country in the world that wee bastard that walked up to a police Land Rover, one threw a petrol bomb and the other was trying to wreck the Landy would have been shot.

Well all the PSNI need to do is get Joe Shell's details from A&E and ask the question was it leaded or un leaded, was it a Bio fuel. Should have grabbed the ass hole and put him in the back of the same ambulance as injured officers were in to be taken to hospital. A 47 year old has been arrested tonight for inciting riot. They also decided to have another wee riot tonight but it was to cold for the hard men to leave the comfort the fire side. The police quickly dispersed those who did not have a warm fireside to sit beside.
