I read today that the UK gov are going to announce , 10 years earlier than planned, a ban on all petrol and diesel cars, including hybrids , by 2030. So that will do the car industry right now , the world of good, who's going to buy new cars other than electric ?. The bottom has dropped out of diesel cars, due to the banning in some city centres, and more planned. They will have to get their finger out to be able to supply enough electricity via chargers in that time. Hydrogen cars could be the way forward, but a lot to do on the safety side for that.
