Re: Climate Change -Again.
One of our clothing shops, Target, is to ban plastic bags, again.
It did so a few years ago but brought them back as shoplifting escalated.
Pick up a piece of clothing and just walk out.
But many such as I often impulse shop, but you can of course buy one of their heavier plastic bags which will last for many years.
It has been estimated as long as possibly 100 years.
But I refuse to pay for such a bag as the price can well be fitted into the retail price of the item.
So I may just have to continue in the same thongs, shorts and Tee shirts as I have for many long years past.

John you could perhaps buy a string vest which could double up as a bag when you are out without a bag?

Possible, but you often see men here out with the bag.
In most instances they ate there to push the trolley.

Re: Climate Change -Again.
I wonder when we had the Ice Age millions of years ago what people at the time blamed it on.

Re: Climate Change -Again.
I have just walked through the Park ,a nice SPRING DAY.
Blossom on the trees are just coming out, the buds for the leafs are showing, the Daffodils are blooming .Just having an April shower at the moment. The tide here arrived on time in Fleetwood no higher then any other time. Two seagulls were mating on my garden shed yesterday afternoon.
IT IS SPRING TIME AS IT ALWAYS WAS FOR THE LAST 84 YEARS OF MY LIFETIME.
So can some half witted campaigner tell me where is the climate changing?

Where do they get their information from?
All living creatures produce Co2 when they exhale, it s taken up by trees and other green shrubs to produce Oxygen, without which we cannot survive.
All on this planet that dies decomposes and produces Methane gas.
So the only way to stop both of them is for Earth to become a barren planet.
I wonder where they get their information from and which science fiction book are they reading?
There is nothing wrong in reducing pollution but their concept is just plain stupid.
For a start cows have to stop farting.

Re: Climate Change -Again.
An interesting fact that the greens will never admit. Australian coal is at present being black balled by china. To replace the coal that was coming from Australia but now being substituted by Mongolian coal which is far higher in sulphur and ash than Australasian coal, so if you stop digging and selling Austraklian coal you are adversley affecting both the atmosphere and land with added pollution. Sounds like typical politician speak, or like the story of the economist who took extra lond strides to saave his $100 shoes, and in dioinf so split his $200 strides Australian for trousers)

As noted, " my " convoy ( CU 49 of 1944 ) with U.S.N. Task Group 21.6 had a Surface Sea Temperature of 59.93 degrees Fahrenheit. Operated from New York and Boston to the U.K. between 1 and 12 December 1944.

Yet according to figures from the ABs our cola exports to China are at a record high.
I often wonder who is trying to kid who when it comes to such matters.
