Re: Climate Change -Again.
Sent to me by a friend in WA.
Just caught the tail end of a weather forecast on the tv and heard a total load of garbage. The announcer was talking about a storm force 8. There is no such thing as far as I am aware . There is a gale force 8, and Storms start at force 10.
They want to learn the Beaufort scales before they try to impersonate someone who is supposed to know what they are talking about. These people are taking as gospel by millions who know no better. It’s not only broadcasting fake news now, it is obvious complete made up nonsense in a lot of cases. Just absolute incompetency by some. ever to

Yes Victoria, the first cruise we did to NZ we could not get into Milford Sound.
Weather was so bad we had to go through Cook straits to get to Dunedin.
But one P&O did attempt it with some dire consequences.

Re: Climate Change -Again.
Possible more bad Weather on the way for the UK , hang in there like us here!
https://www.msn.com/en-gb/news/weath...cid=spartandhp
Rain is still pouring here in NSW and in Blackheath, and more to come as well.
Some Suburbs got up to 700 mm in one day ,many floods all over,Houses destroyed,Trees down,Power lines down ,Water Generators out so no running water in a lot of places, Train Tracks damaged with Landslides , High Tides with massive Waves , damaging the Beaches and having many House Holders on the edge watching the Soil just vanish.you name it we got it.
Only good thing about all this Rain is Number one the Fires are now mostly all gone here in NSW , and the main Dams are nice and healthy with Warragamba at now some 70 % and still filling, Nepean Dam is also over 70 % and many other Dams around are full.
What the heck is going on?? Never seen so much Weather change in all the Years we have been here!
Cheers

Hey KT come on over ,here i have to Mow my Grass in the Summer Twice a Week not a Year, you have things too easy LOL
And the size of the Area to be mowed here is approx 250 Squares. I just finished in the Rain and the Weight of the Wet Grass is amazing, after filling my Green Waste Bin lugging it up the Driveway (Quite a steep one uphill) Whew!!
And the Rain she just keeps coming down, no end in sight! We needed it and Boy! have we got it! Most of our Dams are again almost full.
Cheers
Snapshot of Increases on all Dams really good!

Re: Climate Change -Again.
Quite amazing how things are going.
About ten years ago one senior member of the Oz climate panel said that we would never get snow again on the Victorian alps and that Queensland would never see rain again!!!!!
Over the last 6 years the snow fall has slowly increased on the alps with a one day biggest ever last season.
Queensland has been flooded twice since then.
Little wonder there are climate sceptics with comments such as those.

You are lucky KT
I didn't see my lawn for three days,
It was covered in snow.
Now that is Real Global Warming.

Re: Climate Change -Again.
Reports are coming in that a small tornado hit the Island last night in the Cowes area, one person woke this morning to find a small boat in the garden. The Met office had stated earlier in the evening that it had the look of one approaching, we will be losing our status as a tropical Island shortly, lol , kt

Re: Climate Change -Again.
Further to my previous post on carbon-neutral fuel, I have managed to get a fuller report. As said previously regardless of views on climate change it would seem to be a positive move. You have to make up your own minds if it will be adopted. It does not seem to have had any media coverage perhaps that tells a story of its' own
