I see in the weekend news that one of Liverpool's oldest footballers has been honored in the Queens birthday list.
Well done to Liverpool, another thing to add to the cities long history.
    Happy daze John in Oz.

John, The queen also gave Mike Carney a C.B.E.
Who is this lump of dunage................................... Following unprecedented chaos on the railway networks this week, the news that outgoing boss of Network Rail, Mark Carne, is to receive a Queen’s birthday honour is not likely to sit well with commuters.

Carne, who announced his departure as chief executive of Network Rail in February, has been made a Commander of the Order of the British Empire.

He joins around 1,350 people on the Queen’s honours list, many of them gaining MBEs, CBEs, OBEs, and knighthoods.

However, the announcement is likely to be met with intense criticism after commuters across the North faced weeks of rail chaos due to a change of timetable, with thousands left stranded after trains were cancelled or severely delayed. He also backs the franchises who bought the railway from B.R. To bring in one man trains on main line rail, He couldn't find enough bloody train drivers to fit his time table let alone guards. Re nationalize the railways and put it back in the hands of the people who are more interested in getting you to your destination, Instead of trying to make it a money making exercise. Terry.
