Re: Children in need
Locally we were looking at fund raising for a hospital wing, we now ask what they require, source and pay for, then donate the requirement. No middlemen.
It is working here.

Re: Children in need
According to will Sir Harvey Kmar has an engineering degree and no medical qualifications.
Irrespective of that the point I was trying to make, it takes a hell of a lot of contributions t make £260k.

Re: Children in need
Children in need, no matter where in the world they may be there will be some company or other after our money to care for them.
Such situations have sporned a thousand companies all of the same ilk. They show pictures of poor deprived children in the hope of touching our heart strings so we will make a payment to them.
However by the time the salary for the CEO, staff and others is removed from the monies so generously given by the unsuspecting public there is often as little as 1 cent in the dollar left for these poor kids.

Happy daze John in Oz.
