    Tom,read about lifeboats,how true that is,i wont go into immigrant thing,but i am with you all the way.I mind while back about poppy appeal,on the news,stating different branches collecting money were using some of the money to have a night out,,slap up meal,,drink,,again i will not go into this one too much,as there is a lot to say..I have never gave to charity in my life,,but i now give to cancer research,thru charity shops,in the hope a bit gets thru ..I give cause someone close to me had cancer,,and the after affects are heart breaking,for us all BENGY

    Locally we were looking at fund raising for a hospital wing, we now ask what they require, source and pay for, then donate the requirement. No middlemen.

    According to will Sir Harvey Kmar has an engineering degree and no medical qualifications.
    Irrespective of that the point I was trying to make, it takes a hell of a lot of contributions t make £260k.

    ah détente lewis, you are correct southport does have its own lifeboat station and as you have stated the pay remuneration is over the top

    Children in need, no matter where in the world they may be there will be some company or other after our money to care for them.

    Such situations have sporned a thousand companies all of the same ilk. They show pictures of poor deprived children in the hope of touching our heart strings so we will make a payment to them.
    However by the time the salary for the CEO, staff and others is removed from the monies so generously given by the unsuspecting public there is often as little as 1 cent in the dollar left for these poor kids.
