Why a Viking diet is the best way to keep the brain healthy and may fight off dementia
Far better than a froggy French diet. that is for wimps.
•The Nordic diet is very high in fish, non-root vegetables, fruit, rice and chicken
•It also includes a light to moderate consumption of wine, and is high in water
•The diet avoids eating too many root vegetables, potatoes and refined grains
•Following the diet was linked with a smaller decline in memory and thinking skills

Vikings may be best known for marauding and pillaging but there is one Nordic behaviour that is worth copying.
Sticking to a traditional Nordic diet can support brain health in old age and could help fight off dementia.
The diet is high in fish, non-root vegetables, fruit, rice and chicken, washed down with plenty of water and tea.
In good news for drinkers, the diet also includes a light to moderate consumption of wine.

You had better start heading for Blackpool Brian as the first recorded spelling of your family name is shown to be that of Henry de Aspenewell which was dated 1246. According to The Assize Court Rolls of Lancashire during the reign of Henry III your ancestor was known as "The Frenchman". Forget about the bottle of 10 year old as I think a cheap bottle of Teacher's Highland Cream will be good enough to enable you to get over this shock.

Just checked the History of the name,
It was in existence for a few centuries before the Norman Conquest in 1066, The Coat of Arms prove it.
So off to my Solicitors this afternoon. I am going to sue for Deformation of my name. NO FRENCH CONNECTIONS.
