    Marian, I have been known to partake the odd wee dram from the Sixteen Men of Tain, distillery. I have to say there is not a lot wrong with it. So if you were wondering what Santa should send, the 10 year old will do nicely

    Brian, Odin may well be with you but so are so many other Baltic nations and yes some French I have to say.
    The whole region over time has been taken over by one nation or another so mixed blood is all the go.

    If there is a tiny drop of froggy French blood, it was from the Norman conquest, these men were not froggy Frenchmen but Norsemen who had settled in froggy france after invading france.
