    Did you know that on the peak of this Cap there was an inscription , It was written in Latin.
    I am not sure what the inscription says. He was challenged about why it was in Latin and not in French.

    As he was a bird colonel when he defected from France maybe he thought it was bird crap Lewis. Does anyone know who promoted him to General. His cv leaves a lot to be desired. If you have looked at the records and landings of the free French during the Normandy landings they weren't particularly spectacular. Cheers JWS.
