    Default Trough time

My local M.P. is a London barrister , before being selected to stand for the seat she had never been to Lincolnshire.
George Osborne is M.P. for Tatton in Cheshire , he may find is way there if he has satnav or a road map. Now with five other highly paid jobs he has said he will continue as M.P.
working mornings only. If he and other M.P.s are part time they should only be paid part time salaries or put on zero hour contracts .

It's called feathering, these bar stewards have gone to university as politicians, have never done a real job, shagged us all up while in politics, and then float off to their cushy pile of feathers. This is what causes revolutions, which come to think of it is a bloody good idea, kt

Anne and I had a coffee with him in the Raffles Hotel in Singapore three years ago, he was staying there, He seemed a very nice chap, had a good chat for about an hour,
But then he is a Politician, they all seem to be "nice chaps". That is what Con men do best, You cannot con people if you are act like a bad bastard.
If he is doing six jobs then he is doing Five people out of a job.
    Cheers

My MP is a Lawyer QC and does that work as well as an MP. and is Totally useless.
Being an MP should be a FULL TIME Job. or get out of Parliament.
What next???? a Prime Minister doing a job in a factory??

Putting Osbourne in prison would certainly lower the tone of the general prison population. He is lower on the scale than most of em inside.

Louis re #1 "My local M.P. is a London barrister , before being selected to stand for the seat she had never been to Lincolnshire."

In the States a person trying to do this is called a "carpetbagger" and wouldn't stand a chance of being elected to be the local "Dog Catcher."

The name "Carpetbagger" come from the spivs that moved from the North to the South at the conclusion of "The War of Northern Aggression" as the Civil War is called here in the South. They were recognized by the case they carried that was made out of carpet like material with a single grip at the top, usually filled with cash. They poured into the Southern States buying up property that had been seized by the government for non (unable to) payment of property tax or repayment of loans, kicking the former owners off their land. The South had a cash shortage at the time. Lincoln had recognized this problem and had taken corrective steps, but his successor, President Johnson was overruled by radicals in Congress determined that the South should suffer.

Today it is an insulting term for someone who tries to move in from outside to seize an election dishonorably.

So going by that definition, the term Carpetbagger could be applied to the current British Prime minister. Today it is an insulting term for someone who tries to move in from outside to seize an election dishonourably,

seeing as she was not elected to the post of PM.

At least this wee Krankie was elected as first minister
