Re: Trough time
She was elected by the Conservative Party who was elected by the electorate, what is the problem????
Get rid of that stinking corrupt Europe, make Britain Great Britain again when we all traded world wide before Europe stole it all off us.
Those who want Europe, go and live there, and the rest of us will be happy.

At least this wee Krankie was elected as first minister

So what's your problem, many have stepped into the post of Prime Minister when the incumbent has abdicated before full term, both Labour and Conservative and is part of our political system and entirely legal. We realise of course that all European countries are paragons of virtue and Spain in particular the local mayors are incorruptable, I know because my British friends living in Spain have told me so, but of course are willing to do you a 'favour' for a consideration and their family get the business

Re: Trough time
Here in WA we have just had a big swing to the Labour side of politics. This has put the alarm into the Federal Liberty Party, as far as I am concerned I voted for neither in WA. Being a voter with no particular party to practice obeyance to, I just vote who I think would be best for the country and of course myself. The leader of the Federal Labour party at present does not appeal to me, as seems to carry too much baggage with him, his recent outbursts about Trump do not promise any future for him as a Statesman of any calibre, I think if the Labour party changed its leader for a more acceptable figure, you would see the Labour party out here come right up in the polls at present, by his loose mouth he must have put many voters off, there again he never expected Trump to get in, and himself being an avid poll watcher listened to what he wanted to hear. Politics you either love em or hate em. I try to ignore them and wouldnt cross the street to shake hands with any of them. JWS

Re: Trough time
Chris #12, you are so right mate, there are so many uneducated persons politically who just do not understand the system.
We had a case here a couple of weeks back where two were found to be rorting their 'perks' so the system is now to be changed.
There is also a push for all politicians to live in their electorates.
We have one, Labor, who represents a seat with the highest unemployment and the highest number of people in funny clothing claiming to represent the people. While he live sin one of the most affluent parts of Melbourne.

Happy daze John in Oz.
