Re: Apple & paypal scams about
Frequently get scams about my paypal account, along the lines, if you do answer this email and log on to your account via this link your account will be closed.
The one that really made me laugh was when my very good friend from the Bank of Nigeria wanted my bank account details so he could deposit $40 million in my account I gave him my account details, now he says he wants his money bank, no way I'm keeping it lol.
I wonder if anyone has ever actually been stupid enough to give away account details to these scammers???

Re: Apple & paypal scams about
Yes Lewis, there was acase here last year where a lady paid almost $100,000 to some guy she met on a dating site. She never met him but he conned her into paying the money for a so called operation to save his life. The only operation was the one run by this scumbag. It made one of our current affair programs on TV.

Re: Apple & paypal scams about
There is a scam doing the rounds at the moment where a voice says can you here me you reply yes, this yes is then added to another question such as do you want this deal and your yes is added onto that that you have agreed to whatever it is they are selling.

That's right Jim. Once they have that 'yes' your in the loop. The answer to give such a call is to hang up.
