Keith instead of responding to the political propaganda being spewed out by various idiots in the Press,
Think for yourself, make your own mind up. use your own experiences in life, all you do is give these morons something to feed on.

Actually we don't need all this nonsense reproduced on here, as we all have TV's, Radios and Newspapers so are well aware of what is going on in the world, reproducing reams of what has been written elsewhere really is a superfluous exercise

Re: 'Stupid Trump'
Seafarers from Trump's banned countries can be expected to be prevented from being granted shore leave in the USA.
P and I clubs have issued guidance notes on how his policy may affect seafarers or possibly ships registered in those countries.
Does not bother me but just thought I would chuck it in.

#1 Not a bit of it mate, I personally , think the world is a safer place with Trump at the U S A s reigns , because over the years every tin pot leader who has made threats to the U S has known that they were dealing with a reasonable man, but Trump is an unknown, a loose cannon , capable of anything maybe so they will think twice now , JOE .

Re: 'Stupid Trump'
My first real question on the thread Re: 'Stupid Trump'
No ‘G’day, mate’: On call with Australian prime minister, Trump badgers and brags ?
It should have been one of the most congenial calls for the new commander in chief — a conversation with the leader of Australia, one of America’s staunchest allies, at the end of a triumphant week.
Instead, President Trump blasted Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull, Then, 25 minutes into what was expected to be an hour-long call, Trump abruptly ended it.
Interested in this, Who is right or wrong ? Oz or America. Or is it all just made up.
I will be e.mailing rellies later, so will get the down under version.

Re: 'Stupid Trump'
JUST IN FROM OZ.
Democratic senator Jeff Merkley said much of the president's behaviour had been "extremely disturbing" and that "many of us are worried we are going to stumble into war".
hopefully, SOMEONE THAT WAY CAN TELL IT AS IT IS ?

Re: 'Stupid Trump'
SAID LITTLE REALLY IN A WHOLE THREAD.
ABIDED BY REQUEST.
DAFT REALLY, NO ONE ELSE IS DOING THE SAME.
GLOVES ARE OFF:
I've been really trying to understand Trump supporters. The cognitive dissonance is totally confusing and it just doesn't make sense that many constituencies are supporting him even though he seemingly flies in the face of their stated beliefs. This probably isn't an original thought, but I think it's the only plausible explanation:
Trump is merely the vehicle. Some of these folks don't care that Donald is, on face, a rusted out 1972 Ford Pinto with 323,000 miles and cardboard over the holes in the floorboard, with a headliner that's held up with duct tape and bumper stickers holding the sheet metal together.
It's a gorgeous car to them; the best car. The most wonderful car.
"Christians" who support Donald can't possibly believe he's a Christian. There's nothing about his background or his temperament or his actions that mirrors the teachings of Christ. Nothing. But, he's got Pence, the poster child for Evangelical Domination, in the driver's seat. He tells them that he's going to put them at the head of the table. He appoints their misguided champions to positions of influence. So, they claim he's a Christian so that they can justify their support of him.
Republicans support him because they think they can manage him to get what they want. They're using him while they can to get their pet projects through. Paul Ryan - Ayn Ryan's secret love child - is maneuvering to dismantle Social Security and Medicare. Republican ideologues are using him to rid themselves of Obamacare, even though they are just now starting to understand the real problems in doing that. It was easy to call for repeal under President Obama, because it was clearly just yelling into the wind.
Then we have angry white people. They feel marginalized because their privilege has been threatened. They liked the way things were and many are either incapable of, or unwilling to, understand that there are complex issues at play. It's easier to paint people of color and Mexicans and ******s as the root of all evil. It's easier to scream that the loss of manufacturing jobs is mostly due to bad trade deals than it is to understand that automation is truly the biggest cause.
There are more subsets of his supporters who think he and Steve Bannon are the ones who will champion their xenophobic causes. "Make America Great Again" is accepting the premise that America wasn't great already and it's a dog whistle to every racist and lover of faux testosterone who wants world domination and white supremacy.
They're making a deal with the devil in hope that they get what they want before this experiment with an unqualified, bombastic, egomaniacal carnival barker blows up.
It's the only explanation that makes sense.
