Brian that works out about £40.00 PM bills are usually paid over 10 months (if you pay monthly) so that's around £400.00PA,Ive just check United Utilities annual water charge semi/det house £439.90. so Vic is doing well there at £250.00.

Jim ref 2 , we were one of the first to have water meters some 26-7 years ago fitted on the Island. As far as they possibly could they fitted them at the edge of your property, only with no other choice would they fir it in the house, so I am responsible where it enters my garden. My bills seem pretty fare, I think they are a fare means of charge, the more you use, the more you pay, just like gas or electricity, kt

We get Pension discounts on our Water here so my Bill is never much more than $20 a Quarter ,we of course try and save and not waste where we can!

Water meters here in Oz for years. The water cost is fairly low, $95 for 4 months, but the cost of sewage and f water delivery gives me a total, after pensioner discount of $285.
Then we get a once a year Parks and gardens charge of $74 this year.
