Hi Tiger, like a lot on here, have lost my virginity, my libido, my hair, my muscles, my money, but have never lost my sense of humour; humour is what kept us going at sea in some very hair raising (I wish!) situations, as I said it was just an observation, nothing more than that. I do hope that our nautical posts interest you, they must otherwise you wouldn't be on here.

Agree that the PC Brigade have made a difference to most everything we do and as far as I can see they are people who complain on behalf of someone else who wasn't offended in the first place, if only the good lord could save us from the do-gooders, alas it will never be, too much money in it for the lawyers. I'm afraid that raw honest banter has lost its way, but we do our best on here to keep it alive without getting Brian into trouble. Gone are the days when you felt insulted because you didn't get insulted, it was a kind of love and respect. Regards Ivan

    Hi Ivan,

Nice to see someone else still knows how to laugh even if I am the cause of the laughter I enjoy it. Supposed to be good for losing the calories hahahaha
Yes I do find some of them interesting, but do not always comment in case I look stupid with my answers. Still I do browse just to keep in touch with some of the Old Lads on here to see what they are up to.
Sorry about your losses, but bet you had fun losing them hope so!!!
    Take care.
    God Bless.

Hi Tiger, don't be afraid to answer any nautical things, even us seamen get things wrong because we are all from different departments and do not know the finer points of the other departments working in depth, which is what this site is all about and we are all still on a learning curve, even on subjects we're supposed to know something about.

Yes I had great fun losing all those things, even the money at times, and Dolores in Havana had the cutest smile (amongst other things!) so it was worth it

The Union Castle TAb Nabs on the Mail Ships were pure excellence , and often works of pastry and confectionary art , If I remember correctly they were done by the night bakers
