Re: Hooray,Maggie Lives Again !
Would any of our many Tory members care to comment on the Al-Yamamah arms deal or the Oman university contract with Cementation involving Thatcher and her idiot son Mark ?
There appears to be a collective silence. For those of you who scoured copies of the Daily Mail but could not find mention of this, it was printed on 21 / 07 / 2016 , only three days ago.
All other information including the deportation of the son from the USA, his loansharking business in South Africa and his involvement with the attempted coup in Equatorial Guinea is freely available on line.

Well of course it's got to be Channel 4 that does those programmes, hasn't it Rob .The formula, like their previous docu Benefits Street ,based in a Birmingham suburb has a certain mandate.Find the dirtiest part of Sink City, with uncollected rubbish on the streets(if not go in at night and scatter some around-well maybe I'm being a bit cynical there, even for me-but you know what I mean !-) .Find the worst couple of families amongst them, with a chain smoking, foul-mouthed (get the bleep-machine ready),obese, dyed clown-red tied back hair in a bun single mother of nine what we could call a chav,in a shellsuit displaying her giant bum crack with a tattoo above it;,with a tenth kid on the way, multi-coloured offspring by all different fathers, ages ranging from 15 year old daughter who already has two of her own with another one imminent (like mother like daughter bless 'em), down to a 2 year old naked snot-smeared toddler stuffing biscuits into it's whingeing mouth, pulling a bling-collared pit-bull terrier's tail ,while the mutt is itself having it's balls licked by another similar mutt.
Throw in a half-dozen overflowing ashtrays,a kitchen full of dogshit and a sink full of pots, whilst in the living room our 'Tracy, for that is what most of them are called-apologies to any 'proper' Tracys' reading this- dangles granddaughter Chardonnay (another typical grandkids name)on her knee whilst bemoaning the fact that fags are getting too expensive now 'cos she's only on £2,500 benefits per month, whilst she lights up yet another one, shouts at the dogs or the kids or both, stuffs a couple of custard creams into her giant cakehole and expertly flicks to the kids cartoon channel on the brand new 55 " plasma TV.....
That's how I see it anyway on the programmes. I keep telling myself it's only fantasy, but deep down my heart is telling me,that's the reality....

Re: Hooray,Maggie Lives Again !
I never realised that Mark was a Tory I just supported the mother not the son . I am sure there are many famous people today who regret their families . The press and media in general used to portray Denis Thatcher as a bumbling idiot instead of being the chairman of burmah Castrol oil I'm sure he never got that position through stupidity . Like many other people I don't bother reading the newspapers all of them including the broadsheets show a totally biased and one sided opinion . I think for a fair opinion BBC World Service is probably one of the most neutral ones when it comes to news Broadcasting

Re: Hooray,Maggie Lives Again !
Firstly, Terry I didn't see the article in the Mail Louis, you must have a different version over your way.
Mark Thatcher worked for cementation, a subsidiary of Trafalgar House (owner of Cunard at that time).
M.T helped Cemtation with the bid for the works, how many P.M's have helped companies bid for overseas work?
Why the files are being held secret for years no one knows, only speculation.

Vic

Re: Hooray,Maggie Lives Again !
Davey ref n34, love the picture painted in your post, very vivid, and down to earth, and i fully agree. This was the tactic used by the BBC when they were seeking someone who was going to vote Brexit, seek out the village idiot to paint the picture, but this was the one occasion it fell flat , kt

My parting shot on this subject.
Maggie was not only an evil witch but an evil corrupt witch.
