Re: Marriage
Having supported 12 years of University we thought we could see £s on the horizon as the third daughter graduated..............then the Weddings began - 2 in 10 months. However, 3 lovely sons-in-law and 7 grandchildren followed that we couldn't put a price on. We are blessed. Also blessed to be with Pete for 44 years. Marriage is a many-splendored thing !
Best wishes to Louis and family - hope that the day goes well

Independence Day means nothing - they are NEVER independent !

Re: Marriage
Agree, Brenda my 8 grandkids are what keep me going at times in fact if I had known I would have had them first !!!!!!!!!!! I wouldn't have bothered with my own 4 kids. July the 4th at least the wedding pics should be nice Louis, My son has picked the 17 July and they have 3 kids, Cost an arm and a leg I agree I told them to leave the kids for a weekend disappear Gretna Green and come back Monday all sorted {IT DONT WORK LIKE THAT ANYMORE} Regards Terry.

Re: Marriage
Why spoil a good thing by getting married. Has no real relevance in todays society unless of course are homosexual. Tell them you are against the wedding and have fish and chips instead of baked beans. JS

Re: Marriage
That reminds me, I must never let my missis read this post its a sore point, We had a church wedding photographer took hundreds of bloody pictures, I agreed to pay him a dollar a week { 25p } The bugger popped his cork before I finished paying for them, Hence no wedding album, Well I wouldn't know anyone on them anyway they are all or the majority gone as well Terry.........................

Re: Marriage
Anne and I have been together for 31 years, Not Married,
we are still courting, Why spoil a good relationship by getting married.
Been there, done that not happy, she cleared off while I was at sea and disappeared a house full of furniture and all my money in the bank leaving me in debt. Not doing that again.

#17, 'Not doing that again' My dear captain, I know from reading your posts these last three years you are a big romantic softie at heart, so why not ask Anne, she has stayed with you for 31 years, doubt she'll run off now
.......I already have a hat
