The Truth:
Dr. Emanuel Tanay is real and a holocaust survivor but he did not write this article, nor is he German.

This is an opinion piece that appeared on the blog of Paul Marek, on February 21 2006, under the title of "Why the Peaceful Majority is Irrelevant." The article was picked up by the Israel National News and appeared the publication in March 2007. Click heree for article.

Dr. Emanuel Tanay, the son of Jewish dentists, was born in Russian occupied Vilna in 1928, which is now part of Lithuania, according to the personal account of his life in a Polish ghetto during the Holocaust
Marek's article was apparently altered and posted on several reader and comment boards on the World Wide Web. Some altered versions include Marek as the author and cite Tanay as the original forwarder of the story.

#1... Braid thanks for mentioning it was from one of your books. As wont make the same mistake as thought your last import may have been and wasnt sure. If I hadnt read a newspaper for a few years or been bombarded by other forms of the media, and reading your account from your book, would very likely taken as a true account. The whole trouble with accounts supposedly given by people no longer with us, is that they are taken out of context, especially going back to just pre and pro war years where there were no records of such kept on computers, is like folk lore where the story gets slightly changed with every telling. Some of the old salts on here with some of their yarns, with a bit of luck wont have that problem as hopefully their accounts will be on someones computer somewhere well into the future. Any future generations reading some of these posts on here will at least be made well aware of most peoples true feelings of the people of the time re their politicians, which will certainly get up some of their noses, the politicians that is, although being as thick as pig #hit that wont faze too many of them. when thinking about it all religions were only passed on by mouth as most of the population was illiterate so you may have got lets say an over exuberant preacher adding his own little piece to the story and many years after the scribes would put pen to paper hence holly books will turn into lets say fishermen's tails? you may start by going fishing in the case of religion fiction is stranger than fact and the fiction is a better reed to the masses . just my view.. jp

They commit an illegal act by coming in illegally, They put them into an expensive hotel paid for by us Tax Payers and given money to spend.
