Re: Who Remembers......
Hi Marian.
I can't for the life of me remember my first drink, but I know one thing.
Here's to you as good as you are
And here's to me as bad as I am
And as good as I am, and as bad as you are
I'm as good as you are as bad as I am.
Here with my beer i sit
While Golden moments flit
Alas They passed unheeded by....
And as they ply
I
being dry
sit idly sipping here
My beer
Cheers DEs

Re: Who Remembers......
My Christian name is Ernie.
Better known in the Spanish Main and Caribbean in the 1950ties as
Ernas the Furnace.
I was not a Forced Draft man, entering a bar with a crowd of young sailors
one of them would say, "I bags the forced draft job".
