Good one Marion and can see that UKIP is starting to worry the establishment. Here in Newcastle NSW have found out just recently that a mining magnet was instrumental in issuing posters denegrating a candidate for election simply so that he could further his fortunes. More or less like the last federal election when Murdoch managed to engineer our last election. Not that he had to do much as we had a choice of only which speed we where to be fecked.
That's the way the mop flops.

My thanks to Brian for this site.

Now Brian, you say that may be Boltonstan? Of late we have heard very little about your neighbor, the one who drives a Merc and gets money from Gov. Has he moved to a more selubrious suburb or has he been abducted by aliens?

I have received my first dislike after 6 years on the site.
Its ironic that this should have come from the member that posts more crxp than the rest of the contributors put together

Well John I liked your post and agreed with it , you must have upset someone , I often do , but have learned that like the rest of the tortoises you can rain all the insults and dislikes on my shell that you like and I never notice because of the thick epidermis that engineers aquire during their time at sea , So don't let one small dislike worry you , I am still annoyed that William Gardner went because of insults , as his reminiscences were interesting posts , or I am assuming the insults were what drove him away .

########john im sure that you wouldnt wory about the dislike any way ....but the attention seeking is just part of the persons make up .......i have fuelled his fire by writing this but perhaps he may learn .......his posts are not really required in code or anything else..... a bloody nuisance and time for him to grow up .......i think a bletchley code machine is required to understand him......just my view cappy

I took my grandson , then aged 16 around Bletchley Park , we had a great day there , he is hoping to study computer science , and he saw a lot , where computers were formed from old bits of telephone exchange switches . The other thing that we both learned was how Alan Turin had died , by his own hand because of the indignity of being foumd guilty of homosexuality and the jail sentence he suffered because of it . A wonderfuil brain lost far too early . I gined an insight into what people suffered because of sexuality , I don't believe in promoting it , but what Alan Turin went through was wrong in any man's eyes

    Hi HD John
He is still here, he thinks he has arrived in Paradise.
I have worked for 50 years and paid taxes for 64 years and he has more than I have , after being here for 8 and never worked or paid taxes.
I just love the equality and democracy we have in this country, just what our fathers and uncles fought for. You just cannot beat it.
    Cheers
    Brian.
