Re: Bolton lead the way!
I think Ivan post 8 says it all, Cameron getting slated for saying this is a Christian country, if my old fella had of heard that when he was alive he would have blown a gasket. the recent revelation of the attempted takeover of Church of England schools by another religion is an example of why we should all be more patriotic, Long live England or for the moment the UK, KT

Re: Bolton lead the way!
Roger, there is no need to feel you have wasted time, it was a post of interest showing how the situation is in parts of UK. Just think what would have occured had it been the flag of ***** or some such other organisation? We must never be fearful of speaking our mind or posting articles that may be alittle out of left field. Just imagine how it would be if we did not follow such paths, Cappy for one would have nothing to complain about and others nothing from which to make banter. So Roger keep it up, without blue pills if possible, and occsaional look on the dark side of life, it might be fun who knows?

Re: Bolton lead the way!
Hi John (happy Daze)....I trust you are well after your jolly jaunt.
Mate, you obviously don't know me quite as well as you may think. I have never shied away from any worthwhile debate, however, I am sometimes disappointed by unnecessary frivolity when it is not in keeping with the subject or natural flow of a thread. I make allowances for Cappy because he is a protected species
. If I give members the impression that I am without humour then I'm afraid that is their misconception ( and yours too, apparently). Without a sense of humour I would have buckled under many years ago, believe me. As for the dark side of life, mate, I've seen enough of that too, certainly enough to last me through this lifetime.
.....now be a good chap and pass me my valium tablets.
........Roger

Re: Bolton lead the way!
Hi shipmates, Hi roger Dyer, A couple of months ago on the T.V "Bolton" the place and people were the subject of a very intresting documentry . And how the place has become one of the hubs of the north, Due to the people who now live there ,The number one person is Amir Khan the boxer, who is very respected by all ,in the commuity He runs and pays for a youth club, to stop young people getting into trouble, Many hard working people who came over in !960 now own property, which they let out to the new people from eastern europe, who are opening shops and new bussiness . I can understand why some would fly the union jack There... But in Cardiff I would not recommend it....
