    Hi Roger
Well mate I wont go on to much, but I do really hope that all will come right soon, and that as said the Household will become normal!
I suppose in time we all have some sort of upheaval ,but that's life I expect, not that I am meaning anything on your situation mate!
I had Today received the Email from Capt, and have replied, all be possibly a bit late!
I hope you don't mind Roger,i had given him your Email and Phone contact!
Was really good of you what you did for Brian and Anne, and I know that they both really appreciated your kindness!
Nice to see them again as said, and you too mate!
So for now Roger, please convey my wishes to dear Pauline, and I do hope that the little ones will be fine!
    Take Care

If he was in the pub with you he may well have forgotten the way back.

And that is one of the great things about this site, and all seamen, we still watch out for our mates.

    Dear Shipmates,

Now that this thread has run it's course, I just wanted to give my thanks to those of you who kindly offered their good wishes and well chosen words of encouragement. I was particularly humbled by the posts of John Callon and Chris Allman who, faced with difficulties of their own, still thought to offer words of support and also Tony M. and John Pruden who, for so long, have had their own mountains to climb, yet do so with such good grace and strength of character.

Sometimes, when faced with adversity, it can seem as if the heavens have opened up and the rain is tumbling down, but you're the only one getting wet. To the exclusion of all else we can so easily become absorbed with the problems that life presents and in our minds, unwittingly, allow such difficulties to magnify. Now, largely due to your thoughtful response, my skies are much clearer. Surely, the Bother/Sisterhood of the Sea is still very much alive, thank you all.

    .............Roger

Roger, the calling of the sea is like no other, when a mate's in trouble, it's all hands on deck to help, whether it physically or morally the crew is there for you, long may it continue. Good luck, you know we are all behind you. Kind regards Ivan
