Amazing pictures Charlie, There must be a case for global warming although scientists and weather meteorologists hold different views. The world has gone mad Charlie every country in the world has had freak weather conditions. We have just had the worst floods down south since rainfall was measured. You are told this occurs every 200yrs or so. Or the jet stream comes down south something more to it than that. Thanks for the pics I hadn't seen them amazing stuff Regards Charlie Terry.

Re: Niagara Falls comes to a frozen halt AGAIN
Funny thing that but water does tend to freeze when the temp gets low enough. Yes very odd weather across the globe, hot as hell here in Oz this summer and Autumn is looking to be a warm one. History shows the UK gets a bad winter every 16 or so years and a hundinger of a bad one every 30 or so. This must have been one of them

Happy daze John in Oz.

I flew over the St Lawrence in January 3 this year tween Three Rivers and Quebec and solid ice as far as we could see. But that was normal for a Canadian winter when I ws on the CPR Boats

Beautiful pics, Charlie. Funny, I've lived just a couple of hours away from Niagara Falls most of my life but have never gone to see the falls in winter. Always wanted to. Looks like I missed a good chance this year.
