Re: aldi
Aldi.
The only place where you can buy food cheaper than the carrier bags.
I pulled my balaclava on, pulled my collar up and left the house after a good look round to make sure no one could recognise me, I headed down the road with one thing on my mind, making sure no one saw me when I popped into Aldi for some milk.
Aldi: Because going to Tesco requires a bath and a shave.
Bored? Only have a pound to spend?
What you want to do is find a Netto, Lidl or Aldi (which require a pound coin to use their trolleys).
They usually have about four or five lines of trolleys near the front door.
What you do is use your pound coin to take a trolley out of the line and add it to another, and repeat until you have made one massive line of trolleys that blocks the entrance and exit of the store.
If the confusion on the shop managers face is not entertaining enough, simply jump over the trolleys to enter the store and smash the nearest fire alarm!
Lidl and Aldi are like modern day concentration camps.
Owned by Germans and full of East European workers who really don't want to be there.
Hot cross buns! Hot cross buns!
One a penny two a penny - Hot cross buns!
Must've been from Aldi.
Whenever I walk into Aldi, I always check around to make sure noone I know has seen me going in, just because it's so embaressing.
I really should get a job somewhere else.
I'm a sucker for a TV bargain.
Today I got my bread from Aldi, milk from Tesco, a ready meal from Lidl, cheese from Sainsburys and some beer from Morrisons.
I saved a shrewd £1.19, then stopped at Asda on the way home and spent a very reasonable £25 to fill my car back up.

Re: aldi
In todays 'Me,Me' society it is nice to see there are still some out there who have ethics and morals, well done mate.
Our Aldi here in Victoria are not a lot better than corner stores, nothing like the ones in Europe. Ther fruit and veg is mainly second quality and meta not much better. Very few items when you look closely are any cheaper than the major supermarkets but the variety section is very good value. Onlt thing I ever go there for.

Happy daze John in Oz.

Re: aldi
Aldi is a great store.
Not that I go there myself, because I don't.
But they do keep all the riff-raff out of Waitrose.
