    Default Snacking

Just made myself a very nice cheese and mayo sandwich which went down well with the 3rd coffee of the day.
    It got me thinking
whilst away what was your favourite coffee time snack and also the one you missed most from home and still partake of today.
    Me.
At sea, biscuits made on board, biscuits and barley sugar from lifeboat rations when it came to change them.
    At home
A Greggs pasty and a Dicksons Pork Pie plus when my mum was alive a sandwich made with her own potted beef loaf.

An occasional treat in Scotland, I allow myself a square beef sausage in a burnt crusty roll with heinz fruity sauce.

If I'm in Europe then a smoked bacon sandwich is always a pleasure, elsewhere [hotels] I'll go with the flow, apart from breakfast soup in Thailand

Most mornings in the UK, it's usually poached egg on brown toast or porridge with sea salt and copious amounts of tea

Nearly forgot a Forfar Bridie!! ....... but that's once in a blue moon

Love at Loch Lomond: Haggis Clapshot. Haggis served with a medley of mashed potato and turnip, topped with a creamy whisky sauce.

    To die for.
