Re: Beautiful girls
Dear Vernon,
You always say the nicest things. Yes it is true one has to go on in Memory of our lost ones; and also in Memory of the Happy Years we spend together.
I have lots of wonderful Memories of 49 years with a lovely ex MN Gentleman and would not change them for all the Gold in the world. Sorry to hear of your loss Eric. My Darling Ken 'Crossed the Bar' in 2005. We had a Wonderful Adventure together and a Lovely Daughter and Son and 5 lovely Grandchildren that now look after me. So I hope Eric you too have a family to look after you. Take care and be good to one another as we only get one chance.
Thank you again Vernon for the nice words.
Love and Hugs to you and Irene.

Re: Beautiful girls
Thank you for the thoughts. Memories are the only and best things to treasure in later years. I live in comfort alone since my family are so far away but a click, I can text, send pics., etc. and never feel without friends since I am active in the local Royal Can. Legion. 'Sides I have a wonderful girlfriend lives close by... only 84! Regards to all, Eric

Re: Beautiful girls
By request and permission of our Jean!
Wasn't going to since the last ear bashing I got about another Lady Member, but what the Heck!
Jean,s Quotes in Colour
Shame the Lads will never see what Tiger 1 looks like at 78 as I have never been able to put anything on MN site do not know how to. Always relied on you my Friend and Young Jim.
I am sure you would get no reprisals if you told the Lads I gave you permission to do it.
Thanks anyway.
I only asked as a laugh to let the Lads see this Scottish Lass has managed to grow old gracefully
Here is the latest Picture of our Jean looking still lovely if I may say so! And at 78!!
She has asked for me to post this on her behalf!
Thanks Jean keep the good looks up!
Love Vernon xxxxxxxxxx

Re: Beautiful girls
Yes Keith, I am coming back to the Big City (LONDON) on 8th March for a weekend with my lovely Granddaughter and her boyfriend. We are going to Covent Garden, Strand Palace Hotel where Ken and I spent our Wedding Night. Then on to Tower Thistle Hotel where I have fond Memories of lots of weekends with my Darling when we could not go on Cruises anymore due to his illness. It will be a lovely walk down Memory Lane for Me. My Christmas Present from my Eldest Granddaughter. You can join us for coffee if you wish.
Love and Hugs

Re: Beautiful girls
Thanks Jean, will know by mid week if I am not working the weekend and will be in touch, know both hotels well, Years ago would meet friends in the cocktail bar at the Strand Palace and finish off at the Coal Hole across the road. The Tower hotel was another meeting place and then on to the Dickens inn, just behind the hotel on St Katherines Dock.
