Re: Beautiful girls
Saw her a few years ago also Lou. Were spending a couple of days in Auckland on a Round the world trip (Flying) sitting outside a shopping centre waiting for a bus and she draws up in her chauffeur driven car. There weren't many people to greet her, think she was out looking for votes. She comes across on the TV film as not very attractive to look at, the camera doesn't lie apparently. However believe she was capable in her job. Cheers John S.

Re: Beautiful girls
To my mind John she was a person who could make you feel at ease and was also a very well up in world affairs and did not look down on you as some of the MPs I have met

Re: Beautiful girls
#42, John, I don't care what any politician looks like as long as they are good at their job. Unfortunately we had a Mr Prescott who was neither....Just my opinion
........And yes, I am aware he is a Lord!!!

Re: Beautiful girls
Totally agree Marian. Was referring to the Title Beautiful Girls, was diplomatic way of saying her beauty must have been elsewhere. Probably because she had the capability to be PM Cheers JS

Re: Beautiful girls
I've always gone on the premise that there is no such thing as an ugly women just some are prettier than others.
Also beauty is in the eye of the beholder, so to me there are 2 that stand out a Cook Islander girl. and one from Dominican Republic.
