Re: belated xmas
Cappy, Brigella Mills was where most of them worked. My Granny, married in the 1880s was 'Warp Dresser' on my mother's birth certificate issued in 1897. Best wishes.

Re: belated xmas
CAPPY--so there you are!! First of all that was a terrible thing to happen to your ma-in-law, and I do hope she makes a quick recovery.
What are you like as a nurse? Treat her gently, she deserves the best.
regarding Brian's 'disgusting' behaviour, the mind boggles---tell all!
Happy new year to you and yours,
Colin, Pam, and family

Re: belated xmas
Cappy
So sorry to hear about your mother in law and hope she makes a speedy recovery. My mother in law, another Shields lass born and bred, passed away two years ago and she was of a similar vein to yours, they certainly bred them tough in those days.
Now
In order to make up for your poor Christmas you are cordially invited to our new year bash. Small gathering only with immediate family but plenty of booze left over from Xmas as that reprobate from Bolton never discovered my secret stash.
You will easily find the house, its the one with the armed guards outside to keep away the riff-raff from the western side of the country along with any Romanians trying to sneak in.
Hopefully Capt. Kong is too tied up with packing and securing his house to attend.
