What annoys me here on the TV adverts for Whole of life schemes , encouraging you to leave money for your funeral is they use people like Michael Parkinson and a few other trusted Oldies , who give the impression that they have these schemes , The public trust them , so the schemes must be good . I know adverts turn the gullible into customers , but I think it wrong that these old stalwarts roll out and do them , for a big fat fee

Perhaps by applying the same principle to the celebrity as to the advertiser - by pressing advertisers for transparency - name and shame would put a quick stop to this lucrative spin.

the celebrities who appear on these ads should be ashamed of themselves especially as watchdog did a piece on this product showing that they were very poor value for money.if a person over 50 is healthly he could get cheaper cover elsewhere and as a retired insurance broker I would recommend a quote be obtained from a company asking for health details and if they decline or charge an extra rate then look at the "no questions asked" scheme and if you have been offered a rated policy by a conventional company compare both offers.

Parkinson should be ashamed of himself, apart from being a conman.
He accepted a Knighthood from the Queen, then he lives in Australia and is encouraging Australians to do away with the Queen as Head of State and become a Republic .
He will not give up his `SIR` title tho`.
Plus he is the most boring person I have ever seen on TV. I would buy nothing he promotes.

Seen nothing about him as of yet being an Australian Citizen. Wonder who sponsored him, he should keep his big trap shut and not give advice to those who dont want his. Did he come in with the last batch of boat people or is he shacked up at Government house. Hope our Border Protection know hes here. John Sabourn

Once , and only once , I watched Jeremy Kyle , he talks to addicts , to the dropouts and underclass of society , they give them £400 each , a hotel room for the overnight styay , mini bar full off booze all for family entertainment , and to help teh addicts they are sponsored by an on line Bingo company , so s gambling not addictive ?
