    Thanks for the info Jim , didn't know all that.

    Visited regarding the Cast ships - various stevedoring problems and a whole range of other issues.
    Once had a meeting there with senior police officers of the Canadian RCMP regarding the stowaway
    problem.
    Can't remember your son Kevin being there but then again he was mostly involved with Canmar ships.

    John,I sailed on the Cast Priviledge June 2000,Croatian Crew.I was guest/passenger it was strictly on the quiet realy.I had to sign some papers for Split Ship Management which would've cleared them of any insurance claim.I remember my son coming up here and having a meeting with the Dock Board and port police over the stowaway problem.He went to a number of places seeing the port authorities about the stowaway problem Le Havre,Lisbon and Spain.

    wonder how many stowaways went over the wall specially when they wouldn't turn to opened a locker once down Fiji way a young boy about 10 came out said he wanted to go to merry England to see robin hood we put onto a pilot boat and carried on down to kiwi another time leaving steamer point a large African gent was spotted from time to timehe had hidden in the funnelthe lad who found him got a shock as all he saw was the whites if his eyes about a foot higher than himself I don't no were he went but he had gone when we reached suez also a great footballer called robledo played for Newcastle went over the wall a german old man I think accused of dumping him strage things happen at sea regards cappy
