H GUYS, Haven't seen any postings yet on camelot's proposed 100% increase for a lottery ticket. If they think I am going to spend £2 a time for what was a £1 ticket, and still have the same infinitesimal odds for winning , they can go and xxxx spiders.
    GREEDY BURGERS.

Any one snowed in yet? We had half an inch first thing this morning, rain washed it away in 5 minutes!
    Stay warm, stay well.

Unfortunately Colin they know that people are caught in the "same numbers" trap which they do twice a week without fail, knowing in all probability the week they stop doing their regular numbers they will come up that week, so Camelot felt safe in hiking the price by 100% whilst minimising chances. As Camelot were granted a licence by the Govt to operate this "National" Lottery, then the Govt should step in and squash this immediately, but that will never happen. Camelot were granted the licence baced on their projections for income and expenditure (which is ruled by income). What other so called 'Private' business would dare to increase their prices by this margin and expect punters to pay (perhaps Utilities companies) but Camelot know that they have these 'fixed number clientle' by the short and curlies

They say It's a tax on the poor, deluded that it's their only hope of riches. The government agreed to this hike in the increase.

Hit them in the wallet, the only language they understand.
A Nation Wide Ban on all Lotteries. No one buy a ticket.
That £1 ticket keeps a dream alive for poor people. They live in hope.

in the tweties the mafia (USA) had what the government called the numbers racket. this was i believe three numbers in a certain order, i'm not sure if it involved other numbers, ie from 50. but for years the USA tried to stop it. Now we have the numbers racket of six numbers from 50, but strange to relate it is now legal, and the pollies love it, more money for them to give to other countries. last year 2011 at christmas they made 25 people millionaires. this year 2012 at chrismas they made another 25 followed by 25 at the new year. how come there is no mention of any of these winners and i have not heard anyone say they know any. i think its a scam and will not be buying any more lotto tickets.

Hi Capn. Absolutely agree. Have already bought my ticket for tomorrows lottery, but that is the last. perhaps we will have a look at this 'national health' lottery, but as yet don't know much about it, or how it works.
    regards,
    Colin.

I always had a ten pound go every week, Lotto, Euro, Thunderball, all those years since the start, in the hope that one day ..............................
, The highest win I ever got was Ten Pounds maybe twice a year. I have spent £5000 in that time. So I have finally got wise to myself. Today when I usually buy the tickets whilst shopping at Sainsburys I never bought one.
I am Ten Pounds better off than I would have been.
Camelot £Ten down, me £Ten up. cant be bad.
I am saving up for my next holiday.
    Cheers
    Brian.

    Default cold!

Good afternoon David. Could you PLEASE stop sending the snow down the A40 to my neck of the woods? Got up this morning, -4deg, but an hour later a heavyish snow shower blanketed my car etc. and nearly took a blow lamp to get it off. Only now have I got out to get my paper..Having said that, it seems on the telly that youve had a considerable amount of the white stuff . Higher ground eh?
    stay warm, and well Dave,
    Regards
    Colin
