the Female half of this Duo stated all that matters to Her is the furtherment of Her Career, at any cost it seems, just shows the mentality of these excuses for people, i hope they are not allowed to broadcast ever again, its sad it took an innocent life to backfire there stupidity, it has done that with a vengeance, the whole world is aware now. may they rot in hell.

    Default suicide

Reading in todays papers about the 2 sub-humans who quite likely caused the death of the nurse with their quest for on the spot news, these 2 bar-stewards should be taken to court, either in our country, or in Australia for impersonating our monarchy with intent to gain. With all the scandal over phone hacking still boiling in this country, what these 2 axxx xxxxs have done amounts to much the same crime. What went on in that hospital with princess Kate, was absolutely none of their fxxxxxx business. Press releases were made every day, and who ever was interested was kept up to date. This was not a joke. Those 2 bar-stewards knew exactly what they were doing, and they didn't give a sxxx for any-one who got hurt in the process. Unfortunately, that poor nurse was at the recieving end and now she is dead, and her 2 children will grow up without a mother, and all because of 2 insensitive prats trying to make names for their selves. Like as some have stated in their threads, I hope this haunts them for the rest of their lives. But I will go further than that. Could this M.N. web formulate a petition amongst our members, expressing our distaste, and forward the result to the radio station concerned. Furthermore, why couldn't Cameron,or the queen, or Charlie lodge a formal complaint?
    Really sickened,
    Colin.

Taken from a site that is called India business etiquette » India Horizonz Limited a site telling us westerners how to do business in India .

No noes: People in India dislike direct confrontation and for the most part avoid expressing a clear "no." This means that one has to look for words and phrases that in effect say “NO”. The notion of “losing face” is very significant in Indian culture. Please take extreme care to ensure that your actions do not cause a loss of face for a person – particularly in group situations. This is perhaps the most difficult cultural nuance to master because the simple act of not reaching an agreement with another person or group (if that was the goal) can lead to this. At the extreme, being humiliated (or seen to be) before a group can be considered quite dire. So at all costs make sure that you do not cause your business counterpart to lose face

This Lady was a Hindu , she was humiliated in a group situation , she had lost face ,My guess is that she saw the only way out as suicide . I for one am quick to highlight cultural differences when it affects the British way of life , Here the flagrant disregard of the poor woman's feelings , and the way her culture would react to this public humiliation , caused her an embarrassment that she could not live with .

I personally hope those DJs NEVER Work in a World inhabited by reasonable people , but sadly I expect they will be back in a few months , because the unreasonable will miss them , The Sun and its Sunday companion may fit the Parrot's cage floor , but I think they are too low even for a Parrot to C**p in . Brand and Ross are back , both forgiven , both overrated and over paid , hey but not on my TV are they on yours ?

I'm quite sure these DJs don't care one little bit. Nothing to do with them being Aussies (some of my favourite people) it just how most DJs are. Childish and ,by and large, stupid.

there seems to be a public out cry starting in both countries and rightly so but even bad publicity is good publicity for them.jp

Just wonder how it all would have panned out if she had not died. Of course it is a crying shame that she is dead but do think that topping yourself (if that is the final outcome) was and is well OTT. Lets all now get on the band wagon and hang and quarter the perpertrators. Even Charles had a joke about it on TV before the tragic event. I thought it quiet funny myself until then. Just out of interest how many on site can say honestly that they have not done something in their lives that they wished they had not done or am I on the site of the angelic seaman that did no wrong.
That's the way the mop flops.

My thanks to Brian for this site.

I hope I did not Imply that Colin , They are typical of the publicity seeking culture that we have in all the Western countries today , the we don't need to work , we can become famous on Britain/Australia/Greece/ has got talent and be multi millionaires overnight and get on I was a celebrity get me out of here . I refuse to watch this garbage because I an a Grumpy Irritating Old Geezer who probably should have become extinct with the dinosaurs , but two thousand years ago The Latin poet, Juvenal, famously coined the term, "Give them bread and circuses and they will never revolt." well look at the TV today , Judge Judy , Jeremy Kyle , Jerry Springer , they set up some unemployable druggie who does not know which out of several skunks could have fathered her child , the audience suits at home coffee in hand and heckles , now they don’t even have to walk to the forum to see the low life’s dismembered , it is bought into their living rooms , and we watch , read , and cheer this stuff on . The DJs in Australia were two greedy self-publicists going along the gladiatorial road , and we as a society cheer them on . I understand it can be hard to find a “The Sun “ in places on Merseyside , well that was a start , I just wish it spread wider .

Over here in the UK youngsters have been sent to prison for offensive comments made on Facebook these comments did not injure or kill anyone but they still went to prison but an asshole with with everyone tuning in every morning gets away with MURDER because of the celeb status as for the way i worded this its not foul language just a pretty accurate description

Causing death by dangerous driving = prison

Causing death by shooting = prison

Causing death by stabbing = prison

so why is Causing death by sheer ignorance and stupidity not also listed here as a crime

Les it may be that different cultures cannot take what some call as a joke not only did they put the girls career on the line but also her credibility most nurses have a different mind set to us when they go into work most can't afford to play tricks on others its a very serious profession and when they go into the building a switch goes on and there is no room for any type of fooling around even though she was not reprimanded her credibility was brought into question she had only stepped into reliving the receptionist that was not her job we as outsiders don't know half of what goes on in a working hospital but i hope we all think of nurses being highly professional responsible people and they are under pressure even after their shift ends there is a time and a place to play a trick but this was neither the time or the place and i felt for the young girl think of the lives she might have saved in her life as a nurse and to think some clown thinking it was funny ended all that but are thees two just that self centred that it will not bother them i doubt if they will ever work in media again as they will be followed and i doubt if any company would take a chance in advertising in any radio station they will ever want to work in again. they will have to live with this a life time and with a bit of luck they will take the same path as the nurse.jp
