Re: ss Patia - Patuca - Pacuare - Pecos
Thanks for that Geoff, I am into the electoral roll as I type for everyone with those intitials.
I only ever met one Bolton Man in Fyffes an Engineer, maybe fridge, way back in 1954, and that was in the Palais on one Saturday night when I was on leave. He lived in Horwich which is now part of Bolton.
.
only kidding,
I am unloading all my swag now, I am in my 80s and no one in the family want them, So if I snuff it, they will all go in the Bin.
Cheers
Brian.

Re: ss Patia - Patuca - Pacuare - Pecos
Hi Geoffrey,
The ships were already pretty worn out when the Stars & Stripes were replaced by the Union Jack and the red-white -blue. No airco, but fans and a closed bridge which I thought was a pity in the tropics. Yet, these were a unique series of post war refers; reason that I had them modelled. Some ships were broken down in Belgium were different artifacts were saved and offered for sale the Netherlands.
