In the UK parliament, they're discussing the Assisted Dying bill. I've been listening to it on the telly and there are some good points being made. Is it the beginning of the end for older people of the future?
They're talking about rules and regulations concerning the matter, for the medical people and the recipients of the service. There will also be "panels" to decide things.
The bit that get's me, is the fact that it will be a lawful event. Laws can, and will be changed over time to suit the trends. A bit like, a few years time it'll get tweaked a bit to include older people that maybe are just sick, but costing the country loadsamoney, so they can be save a few billion. Just think of all the pension money they won't have to pay out.
Maybe in time there will be no consultation about health, just it's your time to go, due to the fact you're a bleedin nuisance.
Waddya fink People?
Oh! I just thought, maybe I've posted about it before, but forgotten about it? that could be a reason to get the special treatment?
