Re: Bad news tonight
How many ministers are there ? Are there 12 like the disciples. If so they should at this time of year dress themselves appropriately and elect this Lord Frost whoever he is , and elect him as Judas Iscariot. I’m sure he would go along with the facade , being a true politician. If there are more than 12 they should have no shortage of volunteers to act as donkeys , such an easy part for most to learn, just act naturally. The opposition could act as the crowd in the background booing as appropriate . Do the Houses of Parliament up as a theatre which it already is, and advertise it as the pantomime of the year 2022. I wouldn’t pay to see but thousands would . JS

Re: Bad news tonight
My personal choice would have been Gove, he has been working with Frostie for some time on the NI deal, he is a bit snake in the grass from when he went against Bojo, but daft he aint, and has been anti EU from the start. I think what happened for Frost, he had stated his red lines, no Eu court, or else article 16, and he seems to have been reigned back on that, and so went, kt

Re: Bad news tonight
So Frost has jumped ship getting out while he still has a reputation to protect. We were told Brexit was done and what a wonderful deal it was for the UK. No border between England and Northern Ireland, no checks on goods coming either way. This was not true, negotiations still going on with no end in sight.
Doddy and his diddymen would have made a better job of it than the shambolic mess we have now.

Re: Bad news tonight
Ms.Truss's first test I believe is happening now, when she is visiting Madrid on a two day visit to discuss border issues between Spain and Gibraltar, whereby the EU could demand Spain secure it's border......let's see what you're made of then Liz-despite you being a Remainer. Don't be a tootsie like Theresa !

Re: Bad news tonight
The Foggies are hoping that Frost's departure will now lead to a reset of the talks, in other words the UK will give in.
Louis the current talks are to fine tune the separation agreement, something that happens all the time in contract discussions.

Re: Bad news tonight
Must confess i was one mistakenly , that thought Terrisa May would be strong, so lets hope that this one is going to be strong, at the slightest sign of weakness the b******* will be in, Barnier is already gloating at Frosts departure, saying Frost underestimated the strength of the unity of the EU, strength my a*** kt

Re: Bad news tonight
Vaccination pass ports, nothing wrong with them.
We have them here in Oz and many places, restaurants, beauty parlors, sporting events, musical events, no passport no entry very simple.
It works and more people are putting it on their phone, very easy.
If you want to travel by air domestically you need one, for international travel an international vaccine passport.
Had our booster yesterday and that is now showing on our passports.
Once you have any injection it automatically goes onto your Medicare account, all you have to do is then show that to who ever needs to see it.
It also shows all your medical history so if you suddenly are taken ill any hospital or GP can access that info, could save your life.
Ireland gone into a total lock down until Sunday night yet they are about 90% vaccinated.
One political observer here in Oz made a state
'If you look at the countries and states that prefer lock down you will find most have either a Labor or Socialist style gov, those who choses to stay open are mainly Liberal or Conservative'
Certainly applies here in Oz, state premiere have found powers they never realised they had, control of the masses!!!!

Re: Bad news tonight
Didn't we all have a sort of vacination passport when we travelled overseas? I think issued by the WHO, yellow cover written in English and French. I received my first one in 1967 to sail to PNG and I think the last entry was in 1982. I can remember smallpox, yellow fever and something else.
