Re: Cunard Bldg As Cruise Terminal.
Thanks for that Jim, some good old photos on there.
Why doesnt Joe go to Paul MacCartney, he is only worth £1,000,000,000.
He owes Liverpool and his ex fans.
What the hell is he saving up for at his age??? He cannot even spend the interest.
He could bung £50 millions to the city and never even miss it.
What about all the Liverpool and Everton FC Players and ex Players who have made millions out of the City.
They can contribute as well, Cilla Black, worth millions , always imitating a Scotty road accent to make her popular while she makes more millions. but would not live there again. All those show biz celebs could all contribute and make Liverpool a greater City than it ever was. There should be no need to be short of money, They all made money out of Liverpool.
Cheers
Brian.

Re: Cunard Bldg As Cruise Terminal.
Fail to understand !! A private company has made a report for a Council, which presumably been paid for out of public funds (the rate payers of Liverpool et al), but the private company has the legal right to prevent the report going public, surely the ratepayers have a right to know how their money was spent........what am I missing here?

Re: Cunard Bldg As Cruise Terminal.
Hi shipmates, who is not greaseing the wheels? The stars from Liverpool as Captain Kong, has pointed out will only give to any thing? if they name is in lights and a tax right off. The public funds in liverpool have a much better job to do { services to all the O.A.P. and many projects that have run out of funds} The government cuts are only starting to bite.

Re: Cunard Bldg As Cruise Terminal.
They should do what was done here in Oz. Cruise companies who wish to use existing terminal but want them upgraded must pay part of the cost.

Happy daze John in Oz.
